Sandra has been working as a researcher and academic at Flinders University for the past 25 years, completing her Masters in Philosophy in 2002 and her Doctorate in 2014. One of her key research areas is the effective teaching of critical thinking. She has published several articles on critical thinking and more recently a book, Becoming a critical thinker (Macmillan, 2020).
Sandra brings a range of organisational, editorial and literary skills to the GFGSA Board, as well as a critically analytic mind and a strong sense social justice. Her voluntary work with domestic violence organisation, Spirit of Woman, provides a good synergy with the values of GFGSA.
